Vermont Update 6: Exploring, Syrup, & Packing
Today, we had the opportunity to explore Vermont! To start the day off, we went to two local coffee shops. Then the group went to Sugar and Spice (a unique Vermont restaurant) for breakfast and a fun fellowship with the local pastor and some members from the church and yummy breakfast. We also got souvenirs to show to our families!
After a small snowball fight, we went to the local maple syrup farm and learned how it was made! We also got a bunch of maple syrup to have a taste of Vermont’s culture. After that we had the rare experience of going on the Appalachian Trail and had a fun time climbing rocks and hills! We also had a fun time talking in the car about how much fun we had! We have enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to share all our experiences with our familys! Tonight, we cleaned the host church where we have been staying and packed our bags to travel home tomorrow.
