Vermont Update 3: Pregnancy Resource Center

“Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” Romans 12:1, ESV

Today, we traveled to a pregnancy resource center that our partner church serves. We cleaned up their attic/storage area to prepare for licensing, did some yard work, made flower arrangements, and packed bags for their fundraiser this week. It was interesting to see a different pregnancy center, especially right after the opening of the Haven, and it reminded us of the importance of this ministry.

After lunch, we split into two groups and walked through downtown Rutland and passed out around 350 door hangers with an invitation to Mission City’s Easter service. We loved seeing the growth and courage of all of our group going door to door. Our hearts were touched by how this community lives.

For dinner, we were served by a lovely connect group. We played foosball afterward, and we had good conversations with the group.
