Quarterly Member Meeting Review: August 4, 2024
Celebrations:
- Since our last QMM, there have been 30 new members, with 75 total for the year so far.
- There have been seven short-term mission trips this year in Vermont, Guatemala, Armenia, Montana, Scotland, and Kenya (2 trips).
- We have one new foster family through WinShape Homes.
- Close to 100 students participated in International Learning Center’s graduation in May.
- The Haven’s construction completion (currently waiting for Certificate of Occupancy).
- 22 Hebron members/staff have completed various levels of volunteer training for The Haven.
- 2 Student Serve Days (serving 1Hope Counseling, Dacula schools, Dacula businesses & government offices, members with yard work, and the church).
- Grant for DFCS holding room renovation received and approval given by their office to begin work.
- Serve Our Schools cared for teachers and administration with duty-free lunch, teacher meals, & encouragement.
- Wiffleball league offered fun opportunities to build community.
- Super Serve Saturdays (2x) were a success with more than 100 volunteers from the church at each event to serve our community.
- Collected 84 bookbags for Gwinnett County foster children and a commitment to pray for them.
- Over 500 Ephesians Memory Booklets were handed out to encourage Scripture memory over the summer.
Communication:
- Our Fall Kickoff is August 14 at 6 p.m. We will announce our upcoming Fall Bible studies and Equipping Classes.
- Sunday, August 18 is Connect Group Emphasis Day. Our goal is 100% membership participation in our Connect Groups. On August 18 we will have members of our Adult Discipleship team available to give out sweet treats and help people find a Connect Group after our worship service.
- There is a Missions Interest Meeting on August 25, where we will announce international mission trips for 2025.
- The AWAKEN Equipping Class starts August 21 with guest speaker Josh Duncan, the Executive Director of TRIAD).
- There is a Foster Care 101 on Sept. 8.
- The Haven’s Open House is September 29, and Hebron Church is invited.
- Serving opportunities will go live this fall, and we encourage everyone to find a way to plug in.
- Super Serve Saturdays are Sept. 21 and Oct. 19 at our Baseball Complex.
- Fall Festival is Oct. 27.

Consecration:
- We dedicated four babies as part of our Parent/Child Dedication.
