He desires that all people would know Him and worship Him. Jesus commands His followers to go to all nations and make disciples (Matthew 28). Being involved in missions is an invitation to be part of the Great Commission to go and proclaim Christ to our neighbors and the nations. We get the opportunity to join hands and serve together with our brothers and sisters around the world.

Meet Our International Ministry Partners
Papua New Guinea
David & Melissa Smith
David and Melissa Smith, along with their six children, have been serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea since 2014. As members of Wycliffe Bible Translators, their vision is to see everyone have access to God’s Word in the language they best understand, the language that speaks to their heart. They live in Ukarumpa, a center that provides a wide range of infrastructure for the immense task of Bible translation. David is a software developer. He has used his skills to develop literacy apps, teach basic computing, and support the task of Bible translation in a variety of ways. Melissa is a teacher’s aide at the international school in our community.
East Africa
Nathanael & Kristin Avery
Nathanael, Kristin, and their four children are members of Hebron and lead a ministry in East Africa. Choose to Invest exists to empower the church to restore communities. After launching the ministry in 2008, the Avery family moved to East Africa to partner with local churches in rural villages. Leadership development through discipleship was their primary focus. They now invest in more than 100 community leaders, 150 pastors, and a staff of seven through weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual training. They lead trips to serve in their partner communities throughout the year to encourage the good work being done by the church. As local Hebron members, they work to continue empowering the leaders in East Africa by developing new ministry partners and bringing awareness to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of brothers and sisters around the globe. The ministry in East Africa includes three initiatives: strengthening the leaders, building community care teams, and partnering in community development projects.
