Kenya Update 2: Celebrating Pastor Trainings

Today was powerful as we assisted with and celebrated the culmination of three years of pastor training in the community. The day consisted of a recap of the lessons these Kenyan pastors were taught and a ceremony handing out Completion Certificates. Certificates are big deal in their culture, both to validate their authority as a pastor in their community as well as assist with registering their churches with the government.

Most importantly, with help from their “partner church in the US, Hebron” (as they like to say), these pastors have grown tremendously in their knowledge and ability to “rightly divide the Word” to their flocks. They were incredibly appreciative of the investment that both Choose to Invest and Hebron have made in their growth through this class and they are looking forward to more training!
