Childcare & Resource Coordinator
Hours:
Part-time (28 hours weekly) with a mandatory 4 hours on Sundays and 3.5 hours on Monday nights. Other hours are more flexible and will be assigned by the Preschool Minister.
Expectations:
• Coordinate, plan, staff, and conduct activities for Celebration Place children and preschoolers in conjunction with R&R staff.
• Coordinate, plan, staff, and conduct activities for additional Hebron Church events (Conferences, Weekday Bible Studies, etc).
• Coordinate all paid childcare needs for Preschool Activities (Sunday Nights, Wednesday Nights, Special Events, etc)
• Attend Restoration and Recovery Leadership meetings.
• Assist Preschool Minister with ongoing yearly events (Farm Day, VBS, etc.)
• Maintain Preschool rooms ensuring they are well stocked, clean, and well resourced.
• Maintain Preschool Resource Room and purchase supplies as needed.
• Maintain Preschool laundry.
• Maintain an open line of communication with the team leads weekly.
• Help maintain an appearance of excellence in the Preschool Ministry.
• Train and encourage specific ministry leaders through notes, prayers, emails, and appreciation gifts.
• Other duties as assigned by the Minister of Preschool
Expectations of Dress Code and Conduct:
• Modest attire is required so as to set an example to the families one serves.
• Act in a manner that shows godly character to all those serving.
• Model biblical stewardship in regards to office hours, diligence in all activities, and tithing.
• All social media outlets used by this individual must be glorifying to the Lord and not controversial in content.
• Spends time in prayer and Bible study on a regular basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
• High School Degree or Equivalent
• Knowledge of and experience in Preschool Ministry
We are seeking someone who feels called to Preschool ministry and has the desire to point children to Christ. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping us advance the gospel in preschoolers and their families for the glory of God.
Hebron Personnel Policy:
• Except as noted below, all employees are required to be members of Hebron Baptist Church and are expected, along with their family members, to be active in the various ministries of Hebron.
• All employees are required to be faithful tithers to the Lord’s work through Hebron Baptist Church. Tithing is the practice of giving ten percent of one’s income to the Lord through the Church.
• Approval may be given by the Administrative Pastor on a case by case basis to non-exempt staff that may serve in Operations, Weekday Preschool, and Paid Childcare not meeting the above criteria. In these cases the employee will be required to be a Christ Follower and an active member of an approved Bible-believing church of similar doctrinal beliefs.
• Every employee of Hebron Baptist Church must be equipped to share their Christian testimony, to pray, and to minister to those in need.
