Guatemala Update 2: Casa Gloria

The last two days in Guatemala have been amazing! We had the pleasure of traveling to Casa Gloria, a children’s home right outside of Santa Cruz Verapaz. We were inspired as we heard stories about the incredible recoveries of the kids that live in small apartments with their nannies at Casa Gloria. Our team was inspired by the joy that these kids were able to have regardless of their past. On Day 2 we enjoyed a scavenger hunt all around the property and got to build relationships with a couple of the kids there. Those relationships carried into Day 3 where we got to travel to a local waterpark and splash and play with all of the kids in the home. For some of the kids it was the first time seeing a pool and we were so happy to be a part of this amazing time with the kids. Overall our days at Casa Gloria were incredibly impactful as we got to experience the joy of getting to know the kids in the home and enjoyed every second of the time we had with these precious kids.
