Day 6: Restoration Ministries & Water Filters

We conducted training today for 60 pastors in the community. We spent the morning teaching them about our Restoration and Recovery Ministry, and we walked them through the new Recovery Alive curriculum, including the 12 steps. We also handed out books. In the afternoon, we taught a lesson on the Gospel and how to recognize false teaching and bad influences as pastors. There were a lot of great questions and discussions today. We are excited about the seeds that were planted!

Today, we visited the homes of families who received water filters yesterday. It was a joy to see the Kenyan water ambassadors lead and care for their community. With each visit they are able to share the Gospel of Jesus, who is the Living Water. Our team joined in praying and encouraging each family. We are so grateful for the opportunity of serving alongside our Kenyan brothers and sisters.
