Day 2: Praying for a City in Need

“We started off the morning by walking around the city of San Cristobal with Avis (The group we were working with) praying for the city and people. The people who are lost try to cover all their bases by going to the Catholic Church to sacrifice to Mayan gods. We even went up from the church to where many people go to sacrifice to their gods, which was very sobering. We then did some street evangelism in the town square and the markets. After lunch we went to Casa Gloria and learned about Jenna and Jeffery’s story and met all the sweet kids at the orphanage. We LOVED getting to snuggle the babies (and dogs!) there. Overall it was an amazing day!”
